| TURVEY THIRD IN
LE MANS SUPERPOLE |
|
RSF driver Oliver Turvey qualified third in the
Formula Renault 3.5 superpole at Le Mans today after twice topping the
timesheets in the 15 minute shoot out.
Turvey - who finished fourth in
the earlier group B qualifying session - will now start this afternoon's
reverse grid race from sixth position alongside Renault development driver
Charles Pic.
For tomorrow's pitstop race he lines up third on the grid
behind British drivers Jon Lancaster and James Walker who edged him off the top
spot in superpole.
"It was a shame to miss out on pole," he said. "But
third's my best superpole result to date, so I'm not too
disappointed."
